     Vel's Vidyashram was started in 1998 in association with Dr. (Mrs.) Y.G. Parthasarathy, a renowned educationist in South India. Vel's Vidyashram is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The medium of instruction is English for all the classes from Pre KG to Std. XII. The students must study three languages from Std. VI to VIII. No student shall be eligible to appear for the All India Secondary School Examination of the Board at the end of Class X unless he / she has cleared the third language.

     The admission is open only in the lower classes such as Pre-Kg, LKG, UKG. In higher classes the seats fall vacant due to withdrawal of TC alone will be considered. The admission is based on entrance Test and mark scored in the test. Normally the admission starts by November and it is completed by February.
